I should give you some background on  the collecting for the women and children who have sought shelter and are displaced in our community  from the affects of Violence of a domestic nature.

As you are aware , this year has been an extremely hard one for many many people and especially the rate of domestic violence has escalated during these hard conditions.

Luckily many of us have been affected by a bigger or lesser degree by Covid and have hopefully weathered some of the hardships others are feeling daily.

For a few years I have been collecting Christmas Presents for these children and women so their Christmas Day can be a happy time.

Many people would love to help in any way they can but do not quite know how to go about it. Your help will make it so much easier.
I am so very thankful your pharmacy has come on board as a collection point for gifts to make it easy for people to spread the word and drop off their presents. Thank you very, very much!!!

I collect for the Charity called Path of Hope which was started by the lady who came with me doing the Videoing. Her name is Rebecca Tolstoy. She is a powerhouse of energy and this charity has grown here in Australia and Rebecca has taken her concept all around the world and has even addressed the United Nations. What I do is a very, very small part of what she has achieved and what she is doing.

Path of Hope  is aligned with the Salvation Army (who are amazing!) and the Perth Rotary Club( which is equally amazing!) of which my husband Jeff Leach and Rebecca are members.

There are refuges and places of safety put in place which are available for those affected, to seek help. These are managed by The Salvation Army.

It is so sad that Domestic Violence is so prevalent in our community. Now, with your help, we can in one small way, give more happiness on Christmas Day to those displaced .
I am asking that all presents be new ( it would be not very nice to receive a second hand gift if you are feeling so stressed  and  affected by previous violence)
I ask for toys, toys, toys! Link for details >>>

Now, with your help, we can in one small way, give more happiness on Christmas Day to those displaced!

With much Love Helen Leach
