We are extremely grateful to Daniel and his team at Advantage Pharmacy Claremont championing Helen’s Christmas Appeal together with his local community of Claremont to bring Hope and Joy to the women and children displaced this Christmas.

Here are a few words from Helen:
Again I want to thank you sincerely for becoming part of my quest to give people who are displaced in our community a glimmer of HOPE for a happy Christmas Day.
If there are any queries please feel free to ring me at any time and I'll endeavour to answer them promptly.

Here is some background on the ‘Christmas Gift Collection Appeal’ for the women and children who have sought shelter and are displaced in our community  from the effects of Violence of a domestic nature.

As you are aware , this year has been an extremely hard one for many many people and especially the rate of Family Domestic Violence has escalated during these hard conditions.

Many of us have been effected by a bigger or lesser degree by Covid and have hopefully weathered some of the hardships others are feeling daily.

For a few years I have been collecting Christmas Presents for these children and women so their Christmas Day can be a happy time.

Many people would love to help in any way they can but do not quite know how to go about it. This is one way you can help. Your help will make it so much easier.

I am so very thankful the pharmacies who have come on board as a collection point for gifts to make it easy for people to spread the word and drop off their presents. Thank you very, very much!!!

I collect for the Charity called Path of Hope which was started by the lady named Rebecca Tolstoy. She is a powerhouse of energy and this charity has grown here in Australia and Rebecca has taken her concept all around the world and has even addressed the United Nations in Geneva. What I do is a very, very small part of what she has achieved and what she is doing.

Path of Hope  is aligned with the Salvation Army (who are amazing!) and the Perth Rotary Club( which is equally amazing!) of which my husband Jeff Leach and Rebecca are members.

The Salvation Army have refuges and places of safety put in place which are available for those effected, to seek help.

It is so sad that Family Domestic Violence is so prevalent in our community. Now, with your help, we can in one small way, give more happiness on Christmas Day to those displaced .
I am asking that all the Christmas presents be new.

I ask for toys, toys, toys! Link for details >>>

Now, with your help, we can in one small way, give more happiness on Christmas Day to those displaced!

With much Love Helen Leach
