Path of Hope Gala Ball 2017

Testimonials

While our Executive Chairman, Mrs Gina Rinehart was in Budapest for the FINA World Championships and acting as Patron and temporary Hon. President of Swimming Australia, HPPL and Roy Hill executives and staff enjoyed The Path of Hope Gala Ball on Saturday evening (29 JULY), a fantastic gala evening to raise awareness and support for the fight against domestic violence. It’s a shocking statistic but domestic violence affects one in three women in Australia.
Rebecca Tolstoy the Chairman of Path of Hope with her commitment, great energy and the vibrancy put on a very successful event and was effusive in her thanks of Mrs Rinehart, HPPL and Roy Hill for their generous support and sponsorship.
Judith Fordham who delivered the keynote speech, was both powerful and thought provoking, and fearless in relating her story. She was able to engage the audience on the issue and provided an insight to how individuals could contribute and support both women and children to break the terrible cycle of domestic violence.
The Roy Hill and HPPL attendees thoroughly enjoyed the Cinderella themed evening and the opportunity to be part of such a worthy course.
It was a great evening with everyone proud to see our Chairman Mrs Rinehart, HPPL and Roy Hill supporting The Path of Hope.

We had a wonderful evening at The Path of Hope Gala Ball. From the moment we walked in we were transformed to a magical setting reminiscent from a scene from a fairytale! The theme of Cinderella embraced with the beautiful sounds of The Perth Symphony Orchestra, subdued lightning of candelabras & magnificent flowers on every table.
The show case of the evening had to be Cinderella's glass horse carriage! The attention to detail on the table, accompanied by an excellent menu choice & some of the best West Australia wines I have in a long time, made it an unforgettable evening! Highly recommend this stunning ball!!

It was the most amazing night, the ballroom was spectacular and it truly felt like a magical place. You and the team have outdone yourselves and we didn’t think that was possible on last year. Congratulations on a truly wonderful  night, the best ball I have ever been to, and we are already excited for next year.

Dear,
I wanted to write to you to thank you and all the volunteers involved in organising and preparing the Path of Hope Foundation Cinderella Gala Ball; including off course the board and chairman Rebecca Giggi Tolstoy.
To be met by the string quartet and  Western Australian Symphony Orchestra, the glittering Cinderella stage coach and hundreds of candle lit chandeliers, as we entered the Crown Towers ballroom was simply magical! That amazing first impression left us wondering how was it even possible to improve on last year’s wonderful event!
The highlight of the evening for us were the speakers who articulated the pain & destruction, domestic violence causes to the victims, how they survived and can survive if they have hope and assistance.
Path of Hope is a vital and much needed organisation in today’s society and my family and I look forward to offering our support, in any way we can for many years to come.
Sincerely,
Cliff & Caroline Coulson-Bonner
