MOSMAN PARK PHARMACY
We are deeply grateful to Mosman Park Pharmacy for once again joining Helen Leach and their local community to bring Hope and Joy to women and children displaced this Christmas.
A few heartfelt words from Helen:
‘Again, I want to thank you sincerely for becoming part of my quest to give people less fortunate a happy Christmas Day.
If there are any queries, please feel free to ring me at any time and I will endeavour to answer them promptly.’

I would like to share some background on the collecting for women and children who have sought shelter and are displaced in our community due to the effects of family and domestic violence.
As you are aware, these have been challenging times for many, and the rate of family and domestic violence has sadly continued to rise under these difficult conditions. For several years, I have been collecting Christmas presents for these women and children so their Christmas Day can be a little brighter and filled with hope.
Many people wish to help but are unsure how to go about it. Your support makes it so much easier. I am deeply thankful that Mosman Park Pharmacy has come on board again as a collection point, helping to spread the word and making it convenient for people to drop off gifts. Thank you very, very much!
I collect for the charity Path of Hope Foundation, founded by Rebecca Tolstoy AM, who joined me during the filming of the video. Rebecca is a powerhouse of energy, and this initiative, which began here in Australia, has now reached a global audience, even being presented at the United Nations. What I do is a very small part of the incredible work she continues to achieve.
Path of Hope is aligned with The Salvation Army (who are amazing!) and the Rotary Club of Perth (equally amazing!), of which my husband Jeff Leach and Rebecca are members.
There are refuges and places of safety provided by The Salvation Army where those affected can seek help and support. It is heartbreaking that family and domestic violence remains so prevalent in our community. With your help, we can, in one small way, bring more happiness on Christmas Day to those displaced.
We ask that all gifts be new (as it would be disheartening for someone affected by violence to receive a second-hand gift). We especially welcome toys, toys, toys!
