Playground launched in May 2016

We have been very excited to watch the development of our new playground at the refuge. With huge support from Dale Alcock providing services at a hugely discounted rate, and donations from friends of Path of Hope to the value of $100,000, our new playground was launched at the beginning of May 2016.

The playground features play equipment and also a nature play area. This will have a lasting positive impact in the lives of the children who stay at the refuge, which can often be for extended periods of time.

We thank our amazing supporters as without them, these projects would not be possible.

Hale School hangout program

Year 11 students from Hale Boys' School are involved in the "Hangout" program at the shelter, where they come and spend time with the children, help them with their homework and provide a positive male influence in their lives.

The program has had a huge impact on the children's lives and we are so grateful to them for their involvement. They have put together a fantastic video about the program.
